Author Information

Susan Rennie is a lexicographer and former Chief Editor of the online Dictionary of the Scots Language. A renowned Scots-language expert, she was a co-founder of Scots-language publisher Itchy Coo, and is the author of several Scots-language books for children, including Scots translations of Roald Dahl and Tintin. Matthew Land is an illustrator currently living in Edinburgh. Since graduating from University College Falmouth in 2012, he has interspersed his illustration with working in Blackwells, Edinburgh's oldest bookshop. He is the illustrator of The Dragon Stoorworm, and, most recently, he illustrated Alice With a Why by Anna James.
