Heather Ryan is an American writer from San Diego, California. Having always been involved in the arts, she earned her bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego. She is the mother of two and enjoys any activity that keeps her young at heart and, most importantly, out of the kitchen. Although she has never previously written a children's book, she has read/performed hundreds of them to her kids. ""That's Just How He Felt"" is her debut book as both an author and illustrator.
