What happened to the shepherds that saw and heard the angels that night near Bethlehem as they announced the birth of the Messiah? Two eyes, two ears, nothing special about this baby. Why would angels announce his birth? He looks perfectly normal! No heavenly light shining from him like the angels, just a plain, poor baby that was not even born in a respectable place. As he held baby Jesus, ten-year-old Tinoki could not imagine how this baby could be the long-awaited Messiah who would save Israel. It didn't make sense, but there he was, in his arms.
