Overview

It's Christmas Eve and two little bunnies plan to be the first ones to wake up and surprise everyone with what they find. At long last the whole bunny clan parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and grandparents are reunited in the big house for a multigenerational Christmas. While everyone else is in their beds on Christmas Eve, two mischievous little bunnies hatch a plan to be the first to wake early on Christmas Day and catch him before he leaves and share the exciting discovery with the rest of the family. From the creative minds of Stphanie Demasse-Pottier and Lucie David comes a heartwarming tale that celebrates the joy of family reunions during the holiday season. Through Demasse-Pottier's charming narrative and David's captivating illustrations, readers are invited to share in the warmth and love of a family coming together on Christmas Eve.

Author Information

Stéphanie Demasse-Pottier studied literature before starting her career as a youth librarian in Seine-Saint-Denis, France, and dedicating herself to writing. A prolific French author, her most recent children's books include Et j'entends siffler le train (also with illustrator Lucie David; 2024), Monsieur Cheval et ses amis (2023), Emile et Félix (2023), Sans détour (2022), Ralentir (2022), and Mon île (2018), which was published as My Island by Princeton Architectural Press. Lucie David obtained her master's degree in visual communication in 2020 from La Cambre in Brussels, Belgium, where she still resides and continues her work as an illustrator. Holding a bachelor's degree in literature, she places great importance on words, which always serve as the starting point for her research. She enjoys experimenting with illustration, giving free rein to her imagination, diverting expectations, making unexpected associations, and playing with words or shapes. That Christmas is her second book.
