"McLean and Knezevich's editing is illuminating and thoughtful, without being obtrusive. Besides offering a text of the novel that is free of typographical and orthographical errors, the editors furnish an introduction, a note on the text, footnotes, and an appendix.--Joanna Rostek, University of Giessen ""Review 19 """
