Anthony Snodgrass is Laurence Professor Emeritus of Classical Archaeology of the University of Cambridge. John Bintliff was Professor of Classical and Mediterranean Archaeology at Universiteit Leiden NL, and is now Honorary Professor in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh.
