Test Prep Book for CASAS READING GOALS 2 Level B-Forms 923R and 924R This textbook prepares adult learners for the CASAS Reading GOALS 2 Level B, Forms 923R & 924R reading test and for vocational training admission reading tests. It includes exercises that help adult education and workforce programs and their learners meet the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) reading expectations. The reading exercises and answer keys cover CASAS Reading GOALS 2 Level B standards and align with the test competency blueprint. They address key CASAS competencies, including Consumer Economics, Community Resources, Health, and Employment. The activities and practice test also align with the College and Career Readiness (CCR) reading standards. Learners are exposed to various types of reading texts, including narratives, charts, tables, emails, articles, ads, blogs, websites, signs, labels, and forms. Overall, the textbook has seven (7) chapters, including 13 interactive lessons, one practice test, and a review section. Furthermore, the book teaches learners how to apply the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review) reading framework or method to improve their reading comprehension and recall what they read.
