Overview

The Tesla model X is a new and amazing crossover SUV that is manufactured by Tesla Motor. The prototype of the vehicle was first released at Tesla Headquarters located in Los Angeles in February 2012. This model was designed similarly to the full size sedan Tesla Model S which are both being manufactured at the Los Angeles plant. The first official set of deliveries of these vehicles started in September 2015. The series production vehicle was unveiled to the public in September 2015. It has unique features such as a panoramic windshield and has been rated as one of the safest SUV in regards of its frontal and side impact crash tests. Tesla has been a company that focuses on energy and efficiency. They also produce lithium ion batteries which is what their electric cars operate from. They aim over time to sell more vehicles, remain profitable and drive down the overall costs of the electric vehicles in the future.
