Poiche anche nel pensiero degli enti finiti le tre forme del continuo ricorrono, di maniera che, senz'esse, niuna dottrina intorno agli enti in universale si puo concepire o formulare. Onde, piuttosto che delle tre forme, ci e mestieri parlare delle tre categorie, che sono le tre forme stesse conside rate non come sussistenti, ma come concetti comuni e univer salissimi.
