A tale of an artist's experience that coined the new word ""Teopratica"" to identify the Antisystem in the System itself, towards a different awareness of ""making and thinking"" as a profound extension of being in art. That mysterious and extraordinary moment of the imagination, whose origin is unknown, that puts us in relation to the whole, or idea or desire or need or dream, to create the work something that did not exist before in reality. It is the point of view of the artist who reframes thought, experiments in his own way and always renews in complete freedom. The eye speaks in osmosis to the whole, guiding us through the flows of time. But what sense does it make today, in the indeterminacy of Systems and the interdisciplinary nature of Ways, to speak and explain how one paints, and then where is the boundary of Painting? The book opens up new insights to communicate the filtered knowledge of the artist based on experience. At the same time, it wants to say what is normally omitted in painting, the famous ""workshop secrets and tricks of the trade"". The novelty is that the writing comes from the drawings in Tracciati/Garbugli and Tavole cromatiche, amidst floating capitals of Marinettian memory. Moreover, the reader will be surprised to read new 'discoveries': a way of extracting Purple, the Imperceptible Painting that appears and disappears, subliminal messages in the Mona Lisa, the Value of Specularity, the Shroud seen as an 'Entity', the method of colour knowledge through Monochrome. The paper also intends to be useful to those who are 'starting out' in art or who want to undertake Painting by learning all its Ways and Systems, not as an end in themselves but approached as tools aimed at the knowledge of one's own Ductus, to bring out that personal identity imprint, which makes us all unique in being able to create works.
