Overview

"Go ""in-country"" with Corpsman Tienter. Dave's insightful observations and indelible wit bring Ten Tiny Tales out of the shadows of typical soldier poetry and into your living room. The mud, the blood, the overpowering green of Vietnam... Ten Tiny Tales combines poetry and short story to immerse the reader in the corpsman experience - not your typical Vietnam tale. The corpsman had to rush to the frontline to help the fellow soldiers in harm's way, and with little to no feedback on how they were doing. Harrowing and uplifting simultaneously.."

Reviews

One could write 300 tiny tales, and not do better. David Tienter, gets it, nails it and if you were there, you know he did. Combat medics are in my eyes some of the bravest, guys alive. The grab your kit, and head up front, that and the jungle getting quiet, are seared in my brain, like the memories of indeed that terrible war. A good tight collection here, as a vet my self, I can not recommend it highly enough. Dominic Albanese, author of Disconnected Memories
