These include the hugely popular Ten Little series, illustrated by Simon Rickerty. One of the first books he created was Little Robots, which was subsequently developed into a much-loved animated TV show in the UK and more than 70 other countries. Mike lives in Somerset, UK with his wife. They have three grown-up daughters and a clutch of grandchildren. Simon Rickerty has written and illustrated many picture books for children, including Crayon and The Peanut, and illustrated others, including I Don't Want to Be a Pea! and I Am Not a Copycat! He has been shortlisted for the Waterstones Children's Book Prize and won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. He has a degree in art and design from the London College of Communication and earned a master's degree in illustration at the Royal College of Art. He lives in rural Bedfordshire, UK.
