Author Information

Renée Thomas is a first time writer and illustrator who is fulfilling a life long dream of creating art for everyone to enjoy. While always being fascinated and in awe of Shakespeare's ability to write almost entire plays in sonnet she is now using her dreams to introduce even the youngest audiences to the lyrical and rhythmic meter of sonnets while illustrating her own books. Renée has a fondness of words and a desire to create and although this is her break through book you can expect to see more in the near future. She lives in Texas next to the beach. She has one husband, four boys, three grandchildren so far, two cats, two dogs, and one hermit crab. She plans to spend the rest of her days being an old married lady, doting mother, Nona, the spoiler of grandchildren, making art, writing books, visiting new places, and attempting to read all of her ever growing collection of books.
