Beauty is not just defined by your outside looks. That's something Marlee is struggling with as she is preparing for her birthday party. Her mom and dad are excited that Marlee has finally agreed to a birthday party. Marlee has been avoiding the topic of a party for a while now. She does not want a birthday party, but she does not want to upset her parents. Marlee is turning 13 years old. She has the invitations but she is not sure if she should pass them out. Marlee is afraid of the outcome of this party, because she has a lot she is dealing with.
