Wright is the Director of the Brain Wellness and Sleep Program at Houston Methodist Hospital in The Woodlands, Texas. Dr. Wright also serves as clinical faculty for the EnMed Texas A&M University College of Medicine, College of Engineering, Houston, Texas, United States. Dr. Wright approaches his mission of improving the health of this world from the lenses of science, technology, and creative thinking. He received both a Physics degree from Xavier University of Louisiana and an Electrical Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology before completing medical school at Emory University and finally Residency and a Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship from Baylor College of Medicine. Beyond his formal education, Dr. Wright developed his executive leadership skills by serving as Chief of Neurology at Conroe Regional Medical Center, Medical Director of the Conroe Regional Neurovascular Stroke Center, Medical Director of the Health South Rehab Stroke Unit, and Assistant Professor of Neurology, Department of Neurosurgery, UT School of Medicine. His community experience ranges from forming the first ever stroke support group in Montgomery County, Texas to working with Washington, DC affiliates of the American Heart Association to shape health policies affecting the nation.
