Author Information

Christopher Exeter is currently a Senior Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London, based in the Division of Surgery. He is an economist by background and during his time as a civil servant worked in the UK Department of Health, where he was involved with a number of policy areas, dealing particularly with issues relating to public acceptance and use of technology to improve health delivery. He has also worked at the Department of Business, Innovation & Skills and as Director of Policy at the Design Council for Great Britain. He started his career in local government and was also employed by Deloitte & Touche, principally in corporate finance, based for a time in the US. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
