He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and a Master of Engineering in Mechanical-Marine Technology from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and System from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, a Graduate Diploma in Industrial Education and Training from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and an Advanced Diploma in Construction and Repair Technology (Marine Vessels) from Victoria University of Technology, Australia. He is highly active in research and development related to welding and joining technologies, particularly friction stir welding for tubular sections and flat panels. His work also focuses on green technology for sustainable marine and coastal development. He leads the Advanced Maritime Industries Sustainability research cluster and has published extensively in indexed journals and book chapters. Fatin Nur Zulkipli is a lecturer in Information Management at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Machang, Kelantan, Malaysia. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Records and Documents Management from UiTM Puncak Perdana, Selangor. She has published several papers in high-indexed journals as the main author and has won multiple gold medals in innovation projects at both international and national levels. Her research focuses on health information management systems and records management, with a particular emphasis on the adoption of mobile health records management and legal compliance. She is currently in the final stage of her Ph.D. in Information Management at UiTM Puncak Perdana, Shah Alam, Selangor. Ts. Bakhtiar Ariff Baharudin is a distinguished lecturer in Marine Technology Department at UniKL Malaysian Institute of Marine Technology, where he has been inspiring and educating students since 2004. With a master’s in mechanical (Marine Technology) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, he specializes in joining technology of marine structure and materials technology and optimization. His research focuses on the development of advanced materials and technologies to enhance the efficiency and environmental sustainability of marine vessels. He has contributed significantly to the field through some publications on optimization and joining technology of marine materials. He is a member and professional technologist of the Malaysian Board of Technologists. Andreas Öchsner is a full professor of Lightweight Design and Structural Simulation at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, Germany. After completing his Dipl.-Ing. degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart (1997), he served as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 1997 to 2003 while pursuing his Doctor of Engineering Sciences (Dr.-Ing.) degree. From 2003 to 2006, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the head of the Cellular Metals Group affiliated with the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He spent seven years (2007–2013) as a full professor at the Department of Applied Mechanics, Technical University of Malaysia, where he was also the head of the Advanced Materials and Structure Lab.
