He is currently Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Director of CCIB Center of Knowledge in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Valparaiso where he specializes in the education and training in hospital safety issues such as the safe handling of gases, electromedical safety and safety in radiological and nuclear processes.
