Author Information

George Ulysses Grayhouse was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1954. He lived there with his parents until the age of two, where his parents made the move to California. At the age of nine his parents divorced and his dad moved to Japan with his girlfriend. At the age of thirteen, he moved to Japan to live with his dad and new stepmother. While attending high school in Japan he made a special effort to learn as much as he could about the Japanese culture, as well as, other oriental cultures too. He worked for a couple Japanese businessmen and learned many desirable traits from them both. Later after finishing a year of college, he joined the Marine Corps. The experience of serving in the Marines opened his eyes to a different kind of world, rarely seen by most Americans.
