Author Information

Professor Valsa Koshy works at Brunel University. She has two research degrees in Mathematics Education, from Kings College, London (M.Phil) and Exeter University (PhD). She was responsible for teachers' professional development courses funded by the government for 7 years, working with hundreds of teachers. Prior to her academic career she was a member of a Local Education Authority advisory team. Koshy's other passion and interest is developing children's giftedness and specific talents. She has written a large number of articles in international journals and is the author of 18 books.
