OverviewListening comprehension is an important part of English as Foreign Language (EFL). It is one of the four languages skills learners have to master. But it is often ignored by foreign and second language teachers. While the other three language skills receive direct instructional care, teachers frequently expect learners to develop their listening capability by osmosis and without help. Therefore, the listening skill should be a major area of concern to teachers and to learners of EFL class. This research work is structured into six chapters. Chapter 1 deals with the introduction to the study and includes problem statements, the purpose of the study, the significance of the study, the research questions and hypotheses and the limits of the study. Chapter 2 deals with literature review which includes the report of the reading materials and the critical appreciation of the report of the reading materials. Chapter 3 refers to the methodology used to collect data. In chapter 4, I have dealt with the presentation and analysis of the collected data. Chapter 5 deals with the presentation of the results of the research work. Chapter 6 is about the recommendations and suggestions.
