Dr. Ruple has extensive professional experience in Health Science education gained while serving as a professor at the College of Health and Human Services, The University of Toledo. She has also held numerous positions in national associations and committees. Most recently, she served as Chair of the National Emergency Cardiovascular Care Committee Education Subcommittee for the American Heart Association. She is past president of the National Association of EMS Educators. Dr. Ruple served as a content level leader of the National EMS Education Standards project. She was the principal investigator for the State of EMS Education Research Project, funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation/National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. She has written over 35 publications and has received numerous grants for research and development in the area of emergency medical services education. Ms. Dalton began her career as an emergency department nurse and since that time has served as faculty and director of Creighton University's EMS Program, Trauma Coordinator for St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, and served as EMS Education Coordinator for Omaha Fire Department, and Clinical Educator for Pridemark Paramedic Services. She has also served on the Education Subcommittee for the American Heart Association (AHA) and is now the Director of the EMS Division of Mountain View Fire Protection District in Longmont, Colorado. Twink lectures nationally and is a well-known author. Dr. Lee is a research consultant in the field of healthcare education, instructional design, and multimedia development. Dr. Lee received his PhD from Penn State University in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design. He is the lead author of three books about multimedia instructional design and one on organizational development. He has worked for numerous major corporations during his career including, American Airlines, EDS, and Ferranti Defense Systems, as well as The American Heart Association as a manager and director of training and education. He has been on the faculties of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, Penn State University, Virginia State University, University of Oklahoma, and the University of Texas at Dallas. He has been a featured speaker at local, regional, national, and international conferences and was the chair of the ASTD Technology Conference in 2002. He has designed and developed award-winning training and multimedia courses for many corporations throughout his career.
