In this completely revised and expanded edition of Teaching English in the Workplace, Mary Ellen Belfiore and Barbara Burnaby have preserved the central themes of the first edition while integrating ideas and examples that reflect new ways of thinking about workplace education. Mary Ellen Belfiore has wide North American experience of teaching and administering successful workplace programs. She is a teacher, researcher and curriculum writer in adult education, English as a second language and teacher-training with a special interest in workplace education. Formerly an ESL teacher in Japan and Canada, Barbara Burnaby is a professor in the Adult Education Department, the Curriculum Department and the Modern Language Centre at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education in Toronto.
