Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationChristie Toth is an associate professor in the University of Utah's Department of Writing and Rhetoric Studies. She has taught writing at several open-admissions institutions, including Portland Community College, Clackamas Community College, Diné College, and Salt Lake Community College (SLCC). She currently serves as her department's Coordinator of Transfer Initiatives and Community College Partnerships, a role that emerged from her decade-long collaboration with colleagues at SLCC to support transfer students and graduate students aspiring to teach at access-oriented institutions. She regularly coauthors and coedits scholarship with two-year college faculty and students.
