Overview

GALLEY SNOPES had been raped at fourteen years old. She should have listened to her mother and just stayed home. But, being spoiled rotten and bored, she went against her mother's orders, sneaking out to a local college party. The first hour or so went fine, as she mingled with kids way older than her. It was when an older guy asked her to go for a ride with him, when everything went downhill. The man was much older than her, and he had one thing in mind. Being only fourteen, there wasn't much she could do, when he took her into an abandoned cabin, down by the lake. For four hours, he had his way with her, and then afterwards, he threatened her; threw her back into his car, dumping her back in town. Galley managed to make it back to her house, snuck back in, and crawled into her bed. That was fourteen years ago, and the nightmares are what remain. Fourteen years later, and two hundred miles away, and he is still there.
