Fred moved from IndyCar to NASCAR long ago and has since then spent decades doing race-official and special-projects work for NASCAR at its tracks across the country. He continues to serve NASCAR in those roles. He knows all the major NASCAR figures from ownership, leadership, management, and on down through the teams, drivers, crew chiefs, and track officials and staff. He is a fount of NASCAR and motorsports lore. Fred is also a licensed psychologist, pastor, and husband, and the father of a stock-car driver and IndyCar insider. Nelson P. Miller is a prolific author of over 100 books, drawn from his career as a horseman, trial lawyer, law professor, and law school dean, school and nonprofit board president, church operations director, and professional web content writer.
