Talk About the USA by Eric J. Miller is a question-based resource book for intermediate level English language classes-both EFL and ESL. With its colorful images, interesting topics, and stimulating questions, this book could be used as a primary text for courses related to United States culture or for almost any English conversation class where the goal is just to get students talking more. This book has 20 units that cover essential aspects of USA culture, such as geography, history, language, holidays, food, social issues, and customs. Specific knowledge about the USA is not a requirement for using this book. The questions in each unit of the book are divided into three sections designed to allow students to 1) explore the topic, 2) learn basic facts and information about the USA, and 3) discuss and/or write about issues more deeply.
