Grace Crawford loves the beach and loves to surf! She grew up playing in waves with her family, and was trying to stand on body boards from when she was little. Unfortunately those were too bendy and didn't work very well. When Grace finally got her surfboard she off and into the water A LOT, just like in her books. However it was so thrilling she just kept getting back up again; she loved it all. Grace loves writing kids stories about surfing and water adventures, especially one's she would have loved to read when she was little. She also has an amazing illustrator that she collaborates with for these stories. Grace lives with her family in New Zealand. One of her favourite things to do is to play in the water with her nieces and nephews, jumping around in the frothy waves and teaching them to surf. She can't wait to teach her baby how to ride the waves as well!
