Author Information

Quinn Orr is writer/filmmaker who grew up in Fort Macleod, Alberta Canada. He is the author of the books Where There's Smoke, There's Barbecue, Flight of the Angel Falls, The Unexpected Harvest, and Tales of the Prairie Hearts. As a filmmaker he has won many awards, including being nominated for an Academy Award, and winning an Emmy Award for writing. He has written/directed/produced over 350 films for the LDS Church Film/Video group, including PSA's and Mormon Messages. Quinn holds a Master's Degree in Communications from BYU, has seven children and lives with his wife Susan in Farmington Utah.
