Reviews

Tales of Living in Diaspora 'Tales of Living in Diaspora' is a unique and interesting book that captures the essence of the realities faced by those who migrate to other countries. Having always lived in the same country, I found these stories to be a real eye-opener - everything from the reasons why people leave their home and country to the challenges they face settling into a foreign land. It made me think about things I hadn't considered before and view immigrants in a completely different way. I enjoyed the fact that the book is easy to read; it is broken down into 16 short stories, all of which are personal and informal, making me feel like I was a part of their journeys. It also meant that I could dip in and out at leisure without interrupting the flow of the overall book. I highly recommend it! It's a great read! Alison C.
