Barbara J. Satterfield is a noted children book author from Los Angeles California. Although Mrs. Satterfield is retired from teaching in the classrooms, she holds a lifetime teaching credential with Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and visits schools regularly for Storytime. Mrs. Satterfield is the author of Tomias The Cat, and Answer Why For Mee Mee, both widely distributed in Los Angeles and many other schools across the country. Mrs. Satterfield is a loving wife to Reginald A. Satterfield for over sixty-two years, and mother of three daughters. Like Mrs. Satterfield, two of her daughters are LAUSD Educators. Her middle daughter Monica Guillemin is a novelist. Mrs. Satterfield's book tours include California, Washington State, Washington DC, Texas, Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey and Baltimore. She is still active in her community, continues Storytime at various schools, and teaches Sunday school in the Inland Empire.
