Author Information

Sheri Sturniolo is a pediatric registered nurse for over 20 years. She started her career as a traveling nurse and her many adventures were the inspiration for the Tales Of A Traveling Nurse series. Sheri began her author journey with her first series, You Were Meant For Me, written for her own children. She enjoy writing children's books that help little ones better understand the world around them while opening up important conversations between the reader and child. Shay is an illustrator and graphic designer nesting in San Diego, California. Since earning her Bachelor's in Studio Arts from CSU Fullerton in 2015, Shay has been exploring the world of design and storytelling through environmental design, typography, animation and illustration. Shay's creative spark started with after school cartoons such as Rugrats, Sailor Moon and of course Pokemon; but her artistic aesthetic truly flourished after seeing the whimsical fancies of Mary Blair. The way she interprets shape and color with literal, yet suggestive, forms of expression pushed Shay to see the abstract within the daily ordinary. Shay treats every project as the same Tetris exploration-searching for the solutions outside and within concepts, to deliver a product that inspires her patrons and their customers in turn.
