Author Information

Gary Gorss was born and raised in Los Angeles where he first started fishing out of Santa Monica at age twelve. In 1970 he moved to Neah Bay, Washington where he lived with his aunt and uncle. All through high school he continued to work as a deckhand on charter and commercial boats. At the age of fourteen Gary bought and fished a small commercial troller and fished off the coast of Washington for several years.He has been a licensed captain since 1980 having worked and fished in Washington and Alaska. At present, he and his wife Serena live in Clallam Bay, Washington. He's happily retired now.
