Born in Norfolk, VA, Doug Pilley graduated cum laude from the College of William & Mary and received his MA from Old Dominion University. He received a CityArts grant from the NEA and the City of Norfolk in 1985 and has published poetry and short stories. He has worked with famed photographer Glen McClure on several art projects. He is currently working on his second book of short stories.
