New York born and raised, Christa Blackman's affinity for art and creativity at a young age evolved into her professional career in Visual Communications. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Adelphi University (Garden City, New York) with a dual major in Graphic Design and English, and soon after found her niche in the agency environment as a full-time Art Director. There she welcomed a variety of work in terms of both client and project for Fortune 500 companies. Christa also received a Master of Health Science from Grand Valley State University (Grand Rapids, Michigan), with a heavy emphasis on usability in website design for healthcare clientele. Christa owns and operates Blackman Creative LLC, offering full-spectrum graphic design services including print and interactive. She currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her husband, Edward and daughter, Madeline. She has a passion for travel, is an avid foodie, and enjoys reading, writing, and yoga."
