Philip Leach is a solicitor specialising in human rights and public law. He is Legal Director of the Kurdish Human Rights Project, was formerly Legal Director of Liberty and has considerable experience of representing applicants before the European Commission and Court of Human Rights. He speaks on human rights for the Council of Europe and is a consultant to the University of Nottingham Human Rights Law Centre. He edits the Case and Comment section of the European Human Rights Law Review and writes a regular column on human rights for Legal Action.
