OverviewEvery Road Trip Needs a Companion Take Me or Heal Me: A Companion Workbook is a discussion guide to navigate through the journey of discovery and healing. At times, the path is clear. Other times, the storms roll in and cloud the horizon. When Rinad Bsharat learned she had Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age twenty-three, her path seemed clear: diagnosis, treatment, cure. Statistics were on her side. Her doctors claimed six months of chemotherapy would cure this cancer, so she followed her dreams and started law school as scheduled. The disease, however, had other plans. Her journey has lasted eighteen years so far, and traversed nine different treatment protocols-each one threatening her life in a different way. Take Me or Heal Me: A Companion Workbook is ideal for anyone searching to answer the seemingly unanswerable question: Why is this happening to me? The discussion guide questions are meant as a starting point to an open and honest discussion to understand where you are in your relationship to yourself, your spouse, your God, and your world. Whether you're seeking these answers as an individual or as part of a group, the questions are designed to challenge beliefs at their foundation. By challenging these beliefs, questions are also raised about how we approach living, dying, and everything in between.
