Claire Swinarski was born and raised in Wisconsin, where she still lives with her family and writes stories for readers of all ages. What Happens Next was her debut middle grade novel and was followed by The Kate in Between and What Happened to Rachel Riley, which was an ALA Notable Children's Book, a YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults title, a Cybils Award nominee, and an Edgar Award nominee. These were followed by Take It from the Top. She thinks wandering around a library can solve 95 percent of life's problems. Born in the United States and based in France, Hope Newhouse comes from a stage background ranging from medieval farce to contemporary drama to children's theater. Now more often found behind a microphone, her warm and engaging voice has been heard on commercials, video games, e-learning programs, institutional films, and audiobooks. Emily Lawrence is a passionate narrator, actor, and writer. Born and raised in New York, she received her bachelor's in drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. The narrator of almost 200 audiobooks, she has also worked in television, film, and theater. While her greatest loves are narrating and acting, her other passions include traveling, aerial circus, and chocolate.
