"A book of inspirational poems, written by a disabled Christian Author, during a turmoil period, in her life married to a man who she was not evenly yoked with. Her only child and family 3,000 miles away and she only saw her child eight weeks out of the year, and literally felt all she had in life was Jesus! He pulled her through the loneliest time in her life. I also learned all I needed was Jesus, I was lead to the desert to spiritual and physically heal. Although my marriage did not work out, the Lord made all things good. As he promises in Romans 8:28 ""And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose"". These poems are spiritually uplifting and very much written from my heart."

My name is Sherry Knight, born as Sherry States, but I raised as Sherry Spencer and did not know my real name for many years. I was raised by a single mom, until one of my sisters came along, and I was then told my mom was pregnant and was married. I was saved at age six and we all know you are sealed on that great day, but I backslide a few times and had to be worked on by the Lord. I have been delivered from a life of drinking, fornicating, tarot cards, gossiping, cussing, marrying for the wrong reason and now I live a life dedicated to living for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I hope to touch and inspire women going through the fire, and hopefully help those who seek salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord. I have not been a very good person in my life, but I thank God for my salvation through the precious blood of Jesus Christ in which without the shedding of his blood, I would be a lost sinner heading for hell. I wrote this book of poem in my last marriage, I so desperately hoped would work out. He was mentally ill, and we were unevenly yoked, and I prayed for miracles. The Lord gave me miracles of healing; however, my marriage did not work out. My teenage son lived 3,000 miles from me, because he did not like the high desert of California, and so my heart hurt for my only son, but my lungs were too damaged from smoking to live anywhere else. I was definitively in a very turbulent place in my life. I know the only thing that got me through was my faith. I would wake up sometimes in the middle of the night, and the only way I could sleep was to write these poems, and read my bible. I know live back in NY and I am going to school. I have healed from a number of diseases, divorced, and I am looking forward to living a life for the Lord. My son and his wife live not far from me and we all attend a local church and are very blessed.
