Overview

Frank Ricci is a lieutenant with the New Haven (CT) Fire Department, USA. He is an FDIC H.O.T. Instructor and lecturer, a regular contributor to Fire Engineering magazine, and a member of the Fire Engineering editorial advisory board. He is co-author of the “Firefighter Safety and Survival” chapter in Fire Engineering’s Handbook for Firefighter I and II (2009); created the DVD Firefighter Survival Techniques: From Prevention to Intervention (2008); and also appeared in Live Fire Training in Acquired Structures (2008)—all from Fire Engineering Books & Videos. P. J. Norwood is a deputy chief/training officer for the East Haven (CT) Fire Department, USA and has served with the Connecticut Army National Guard. He is an FDIC instructor and co-hosts Fire Engineering's Blog Talk Radio show, """"Making the Turn."""" He is a member of the Fire Engineering University faculty and has lectured around the world. Chief Norwood has served as Connecticut’s Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, Region II CERT Coordinator. He is certified to the Instructor II, Officer III, and Paramedic level. In addition to DVD #6: Dispatch, Chief Norwood coauthored the Tactical Perspectives of Ventilation and Mayday DVDs (Fire Engineering, 2011 and 2012).
