Tzviel 'BK' Blankchtein served in the Israeli Defense Forces as an infantry reconnaissance team member from 1993 to 1997. He was honorably discharged upon completion of mandatory service as a sergeant First Class. BK's expertise include firearms, tactical operations, hand-to-hand combat, amphibious assaults, operational security in hostile areas, intelligence and counter-intelligence operations. BK is still active in training various units in the IDF. BK is often used as a consultant in designing training programs for military and law enforcement agencies. In 2007 BK was appointed as the Lead Defensive Tactics instructor for the MD Police and Correctional Training Commission. BK has designed training programs in Defensive Tactics, Officer Survival, Tactical operations and small team operation for law-enforcement agencies in MD, GA and AL. Today BK owns and operated Masada Tactical, LLC, a self-defense and tactical training facility in Baltimore, Maryland. The company provides cutting edge training for civilians, military, law-enforcement and security organizations. BK received his Bachelors degree from the University of Maryland in Counterterrorism and International Security, and his Masters degree in Security Management with American Military University.
