OverviewScotland is well known for its wide open spaces, the beauty of the Highlands and the Lowlands, and of course the Lowlands behind the Highlands, Caithness and Sutherland. However, there seems to be a view that this should be destroyed by politicking and lack of democracy. On reading the book ""Creative People Must be Stopped"" by David Owens. It becomes further apparent. Scotland has produced some of the best engineers in the world but when it comes to the social elements and consideration for people and communities it appears to be sadly lacking. Lack of democracy starts with the public not being permitted to speak in planning meetings, members of a Committee not being able to even speak unless the chairman says so. We examine the Decolonisation of Scotland and the continued push for independence. Can Scotlands resrources sustain it, or will they be destroyed by the continued focus on independence from Westminster and the Barnett Formulae. The tide appears to be turning. This book will be published just before the Holyrood elections in 2026. Who destroys Scotland most - politics, energy infrastructure or the idea of decolonisation?
