Ángel L. Jiménez-Fernández is Associate Professor at the English Language Department of the University of Seville, Spain, where he has taught courses on syntax, information structure, acquisition and translation for more than 25 years. His field of expertise is contrastive analysis of English and Spanish within generative grammar. He has published articles in journals such as Syntax, Studia Linguistica, Lingua, Ampersand, Linguistics, and The Linguistic Review, as well as a number of book chapters.
