"Pat is a teacher and has been teaching for 42 years. She taught middle school students in Oklahoma for 12 years, and she's taught at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned her Ph.D., the University of Houston-Victoria, Western Kentucky University, and the University of South Florida. She is the Founding Director of the Tampa Bay Area Writing Project. Her family consists of her wife, five children, 12 grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, and 12 nieces and nephews. She enjoys traveling the world, going on adventures, and learning about people and history. Pat enjoys spending time at the beach or in the mountains. She finds tranquility in the rhythm of nature. Pat has played many sports including volleyball, softball, racquetball, billiards, and golf. Years ago, she was ranked in the Top 100 National Racquetball Players in the United States. She is enjoying playing billiards with her wife and 96-year-old father-in-law these days! Tara Raymo is a graphic designer and artist in Port St. Lucie, Florida. She loves working on children's books and making them fun and interesting for a kid to pick up. Tara also enjoys all she gets to learn while designing the books. Some of her favorite things to do are reading children's books, such as Harry Potter (She is a BIG Harry Potter Geek) and watching Disney movies. While Tara likes all the fun stuff, she can switch it up to a more professional level, with marketing materials and social media marketing. Tara has been working in children's book publishing for 13 years. Completing tasks such as Book Design and Layout, Photo Research, Art Direction, Board Book Design, Catalogs, Marketing Materials, and Social Media Marketing. Prior to the publishing world, Tara spent 12 years experience in the print industry, with the job function of prepress and design.
