Charles W. Carpenter is a fourth generation Texan and a graduate of Baylor University. He began composing lyrics and music while in college. After compiling a memoir of his 47 years in the chamber of commerce profession, he ventured into writing fiction based on historical chronology, characters, and events.S.W.O.R.D. is an example of Carpenter's tongue in cheek sense of humor, spoofing action thrillers, blended with an underlying romance story.
