Author Information

Frank was born and raised in Southern California. He went to college at UC Berkeley where he majored in art history, and after graduating, spent time in Jakarta studying Indonesian before winding up working for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Several years later, his partner was offered a position in Paris and the two jumped at the opportunity to move to the City of Light. His love of Paris and longing for traditional American desserts led him to create his website and Instagram @cakeboyparis, which now has more than 31k followers. He has been featured in Time Out Paris, Living France, Your Food, Saveur, French Vogue, HIP Paris, and more.
