Overview

L'aceclofenac è un derivato dell'acido fenilacetico con proprietà antinfiammatorie e analgesiche. L'aceclofenac blocca direttamente la secrezione di PEG-2 nel sito dell'infiammazione inibendo l'IL e il TNF nelle cellule infiammatorie. L'aceclofenac blocca la degenerazione e stimola la sintesi della matrice extracellulare della cartilagine inibendo le citochine. Pertanto, è utilizzato nell'artrite reumatoide, nell'osteoartrite e nella spondilite anchilosante. L'aceclofenac contiene una frazione acida che provoca ulcere gastriche. Il rivestimento enterico previene le ulcere gastriche.
