Dr. Bhaumik established the Tribology and Interactive Surfaces Research Laboratory (TRISUL) which is dedicated to industrial application-oriented research. He is presently the Centre Head of Tribology and Interactive Surfaces Research Laboratory. Dr. Bhaumik has been working with several industries in different areas of Tribology since 2006 and has completed several projects that have resulted in energy savings for the industries. Dr. Bhaumik has hands-on experience in hard-face welding, open-gear inspections, and lubricants. His research interests include nano and green tribology, energy-efficient lubricants and solutions for minimizing friction and wear. Dr. Bhaumik is experienced with several wear test rigs, particularly nano-lubricants and energy-efficient lubricants. He has successfully implemented Energy Efficient Nano Lubricant Concepts in Real-time applications which has benefitted several industries in Saving Energy resulting is a Huge Payback for the industry. Dr. Bhaumik works in allied fields of tribology such as lubricants, polymers, fretting wear etc. Dr. Bhaumik has published in several reputed journals of tribology and engineering and book chapters. Recently, An Indian patent has been granted to him in the area of tribology and few are in pipeline. The Tribology Research Team led by Dr. Bhaumik developed few AI integrated Bearing failure detection app which has been featured in the reputed dailies The Hindu and The Times of India. These apps are becoming famous in industries. He has won several awards and accolades in the area of tribology including Best Research Award- Malaysian International Tribology Conference 2015, a gold medal, DST SERB Govt. of India fellowship. He is also the international ambassador of Surface Venture, United Kingdom, a not-for profit organization that aims to spread the knowledge of tribology among industry and the academic community. Dr. Bhaumik is also an Editorial Board member of the reputed tribology journals. Viorel Paleu has been a habilitated full professor of mechanical engineering since October 2021 at the ""Gheorghe Asachi"" Technical University of Iasi, Romania, where he began his academic career in 1996 and earned his Ph.D. with Magna Cum Laude distinction in 2002. Over two decades, he advanced through all academic ranks at the university's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He conducted doctoral and post-doctoral research at INSA Lyon, France, collaborating with industrial partners and securing multiple international research grants. He has led five national research projects and contributed to over 20 national and international initiatives. His research spans areas such as tribology, lubrication, rolling bearings, coatings, machine elements, materials, and diagnostics, with publications in prominent scientific journals. He has served on over 800 peer review panels of international journals and as a committee member or chair for major international conferences. Currently, Professor Paleu serves as Vice Dean for Research and Quality at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He is also Vice-President of the Romanian Tribology Association (ART) and has been President of the Romanian Transmissions Association (ROAMET) since 2008. V. Jayakumar is the Principal, School of Engineering and Computing, Chennai, and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus. With over 25 years of teaching experience, including seven years abroad, he has served as visiting faculty in Oman, Eritrea, and Ethiopia. He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, M.E. in Industrial Engineering, MBA, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Research. Dr. Jayakumar has authored 10 textbooks, four of which are prescribed in Indian universities, and published over 85 research papers in Scopus-indexed journals. Emrullah Hakan Kaleli is a professor at Yildiz Technical University,Mechanical Engineering Department of Automotive Division, in Istanbul. His main fields are internal combustion engines (gasoline and diesel engines), tribology, wear, lubrication, and friction. He also researches engine tribology, nanotribology, lubrication, friction wear, engine oils, additives, coatings, drain interval and additive effects on the sliding surfaces, surface analysis, nanoadditives, and nanocoatings as he has many special international publications on these subjects.
