Bijoy Kumar Sarkar is working in the Department of Livestock Products Technology, College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, R. K. Nagar, West Tripura, Tripura -799008 since 2011. He obtained B. V. Sc. & A. H. degree from College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, Selesih, Aizawl, Mizoram, India in 2008. He did his M. V. Sc. in Livestock Products Technology from Division of Livestock Products Technology, Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh- 243122 in the year 2010. He cleared ICAR-ASRB NET in the major/broad discipline of Animal Production in 2010 and also cleared the All India Examination, ICAR (SRF) in 2016-17. He achieved Ph.D. in Livestock Products Technology from Department of Livestock Products Technology, College of Veterinary Science, AAU, Khanapara, Guwahati-781022 in 2019. Presently he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Livestock Products Technology, College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, R. K. Nagar, West Tripura, Tripura -799008 since 2024.The author is actively engaged in research, extension and teaching in undergraduate level. So far, he has published more than 25 research paper, review and popular articles in reputed national and international journals. He has published two books, numerous book chapters, numerous booklets for farmers and also organized several training programmes for farmers. He received international and national awards for his exceptional devotion to the field of research. He has also served as a mentor to numerous entrepreneurs, helping to create many successful business professionals.
