Dr. Connie Ulasewicz, Professor Emerita of Apparel Design and Merchandising at San Francisco State University, is CBU Productions' Founder. A community-engaged speaker and writer, she collaborates with businesses and governmental and educational organizations to formulate and promote solutions related to the circular economy. Her textile and apparel career has been interwoven between global manufacturing, production, consulting, and education. She is a member of ESRAP, Educators for Socially Responsible Apparel Practices, and the California Statewide Textile Recovery Advisory Council (STRAC). Connie holds a B.S. from Syracuse University, an M.S. from the University of Maryland, and a Ph.D. in Human Development from Fielding Graduate University. Janet Hethorn is professor and dean emerita in the College of the Arts and Media at Central Michigan University.
